Causes of excessive appetite

Following are the causes of excessive appetite
It is present in

• Diabetes mellitus
• Thyrotoxicosis
• Hypothalamic disorder
• Depressive psychosis 
• Bulimia nervosa.

Bulimia nervosa it is characterized by recurrent bouts of overeating, lack of self-control overeating with spontaneous or self-indued vomiting, this is seen in women of late adolescent or early adulthood.
